Once you have a website with a design you love, you really can’t just sit back and think the work is done – this is just the beginning! Now you need to make sure people are finding your site in searches and the keywords are working. You need to keep the site content relevant. The best way to do that is to make regular updates – the search engines will keep finding your site and the new content will keep visitors coming back to it. If you don’t already have one, consider adding a blog – if you do have one, keep it active. Make sure your website includes links to social media pages – set up a business Facebook page, Twitter account and/or LinkedIn page. These links will also help better your rankings in the search engines.
